At the conclusion of Term 2, Year 9 students in the Small Business and Entrepreneurship class finalized their $20 Boss Project. This project allowed students to design, build and promote a product using a $20 loan and then take that product to market at lunchtime stalls. The students’ work was highly commendable, with most repaying their debts and making profits. The profits of over $360 was then distributed to the College’s chosen charities.
During Week 10 of last term, our Year 7 students held their ancient civilisation displays in the Year 7 Centre. Parents, families and distinguished guests were taken on a tour of the displays by our Year 7 tour guides. The creative displays were a credit to our students and highlighted the lasting impacts of the ancient civilisations on the modern world. Congratulations to the Year 7 students.
As part of the Year 10 My Path week, our Year 11 Career and Employability students made the time to support the event by holding a display at the Careers Expo. The students were able to give first-hand accounts of the different paths available to students in the vocational space. We are grateful to have students at the College who are willing to give up their time to share experiences with other students.
