Dear Parents/Guardians,
100 Days of Prep
Congratulations to our Prep students who celebrate 100 Days of learning this week. It has been wonderful to watch the preps settle into the school routine over the last semester and see their growth both academically and socially. We look forward to seeing them continue to thrive in semester 2.
Arrival/Pick up times.
There have been an increasing number of students arriving at school quite early each morning. Please be advised that staff supervision begins at 8:40am and classrooms do not open until 8:45am. Families are asked to make use of the TheirCare before school program if students need to arrive before this time. We have also noticed some parents waiting around classrooms as early as 3pm at the end of the day which is distracting students (especially our preps) from their learning. If there is a reason you need to arrive this early we ask that you please wait outside or near the gates or out of sight until closer to 3:15pm. Thank you for your help with this.
Cookie Drive orders - Overdue
Order forms and payment for our cookie drive were due yesterday Wednesday, the 30th July. Orders will be accepted until COB Friday at the very latest.
Character Dress up Parade
During Book week on Thursday the 21st August we will hold our annual Book Character dress up parade at 9:30am. Students are encouraged to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. We will have a coffee van available for family and friends who would like to join us. The theme for this year is 'Book an Adventure'.
Elmore Field Days:
Once again we will support the Elmore field Days as one of our major fundraisers and have one shift to fill. The Field Days are on the 7th, 8th & 9th of October. We have mostly short shifts and the jobs could include- food production, Food preparation, delivering, serving, cleaning, dish washing, or stationed in the main shed or food van. No experience required. Please contact the office if you or a friend, grandparent or neighbour is able to help us out or go on our emergency list.
XUNO - Not receiving XUNO messages?
If you are not receiving email notifications and messages or have trouble logging in to XUNO, there is a very big chance there is an issue with the email we have recorded on the school system or your password needs resetting. Please contact the office to have this checked and fixed.
