Lola Joffee Australian Representative Softball
Lola Joffee has given insight into her experience playing Softball for Australia in the World Cup held in Italy.
"I was proud and grateful for the opportunity to represent Australia at the 2025 WBSC U-15 Softball World Cup in Italy last month. It was an incredible experience hearing my name called out in the starting lineup, seeing the Australian Flag and hearing the anthem. I was privileged to start in five of the eight games we played. I was selected as part of a talented team of 16 athletes, and we competed against powerhouses like the USA, Canada, and Chinese Taipei.
I loved wearing the green and gold on a global stage, and with more hard work this could be a step toward my dream of one day representing Australia at the Olympics. Next up I will compete at the U16 State Championships.

NSW All Schools Cross Country Championships
Olivia Boulton achieved her goal of a top ten finish at the NSW All Schools Cross Country Championships in the 13 years 3km. Olivia finished 10th in an incredible race that went to a photo finish to separate the places! While Olivia said she is not keen on running the hills at the Equestrian Centre she was very happy the course was dry compared to the cold, wet and muddy conditions she competed in last year. Olivia will compete at the Australian Cross Country Championships in Ballarat and is waiting to hear if she has been selected in the NSW All Schools team for the School Sport Australia Championships at the Gold Coast.

Success at the NSW State Interschools Championships for Equestrian
We are incredibly proud to share the outstanding achievements of Year 4 student Pippa D Sze, who recently represented Kambala at the NSW State Interschools Championships during the school holidays, held from Sunday 13 July to Friday 19 July.
Pippa D Sze competed in the Primary Division, showcasing exceptional skill, unwavering dedication, and remarkable determination throughout the week-long championship. Riding her horse, Bremer Park Poco Express, she delivered an impressive performance, finishing in the top five overall in the 60cm Primary Showjumping category.
This result officially ranks Pippa D Sze among the top young riders in the state – a remarkable accomplishment and a reflection of the hard work and preparation she has invested over recent months.
Congratulations, Pippa D Sze, on this fantastic achievement!

Kambala 1 Hockey at Frensham Saturday 26 July
Playing in 6 degrees and foggy conditions, the Kambala hockey team put on a master-class performance to defeat Frensham 5 -1 at Mittagong.
Having only 10 players available, and an early departure from Kambala on the bus, proved no impediment to the team's performance. Polly Roche was a standout with a great exhibition of defence and attack that left the opposition rattled with her every touch.
The long bus trip back to Kambala from Mittagong was alleviated with a magnificent victory, making it all worthwhile.
Great effort all round.
