Year 10 Course Selections and 2026 Timetable Update

The construction of the 2026 timetable is well underway, informed by the subject selections of our current Year 10 students. As with any timetable build, this is a complex process that must balance student preferences, staff availability, and curriculum requirements.

Due to low enrolment numbers or unavoidable subject clashes, some courses may not be able to run in 2026. As a result, several students may be asked to select a reserve subject to replace their original choice. These students will receive further documentation shortly and will meet with either Ms Smith or Mr Basioli to support this process.

Our priority is to ensure that all students are placed in courses that suit their abilities, align with their aspirations, and support their success in senior school. While it may not always be possible to accommodate every first-choice preference, we are committed to maximising student choice wherever we can.

Until these adjustments are finalised, we are unable to accommodate further changes to Year 11 course selections for other students. We understand that families may still be considering potential changes, and we welcome those conversations. Once the initial adjustments have been completed, we will inform parents of the next steps and how to request any further course changes.

We thank you for your understanding and support as we work through this important process to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
