From the Principal's Desk

Welcome back

Welcome back to Term 3! I hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable break.

We hope you had the opportunity to access your child's Student Report from our new parent portal and celebrate their successes, as illustrated in their report, along with their Portfolio. We kindly request that the Portfolios be returned by the end of this week, so that we can continue compiling samples of your child's work.

While You Were Away

Our building team forged through some horrible weather over the holiday period, establishing footings and underground services for our new Administration Building. We needed to relocate some fire services, which, in conjunction with the rain, has left the paddock entrance way in a bit of a mess.

We have opened the bottom single gate for access, and you may wish to take the 'driest' path around the track if you are picking up and dropping off at the front entrance.

Looking Forward this Term

This term proves to be another busy and exciting term particularly in our Wellbeing Space. Last term Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools' (MACS) launched it's Vision for Engagement with a focus on Wellbeing and Positive Behaviour and this will be a huge driver in practices at Corpus Christi. Make sure you access our Wellbeing Page in our Newsletter each week for important school wide initiatives and events.

Please also keep abreast of upcoming events live school Calendar via https://www.cckingsville.catholic.edu.au/calendar/

School Uniform

It is an expectation that all children wear the correct school uniform with pride at all times. Wearing the correct school uniform helps students feel part of our school community. It promotes a sense of pride, belonging, and equality.

This term children are to continue to wear their winter uniform. Runners are ONLY to be worn with the sports uniform. Accessories such as scarves, gloves, coats etc are not be worn in classrooms.

We ask that all families support us in this manner.
