Author Visit
On Friday 25th July, our Year 7 to 9 students and Year 10 Creative Writing class were fortunate to participate in a writing workshop with author George Ivanoff. Focusing on the art of storytelling, George guided students through writing exercises, the “show, don’t tell” technique, and practical tips to refine their creative voices. Using their own experiences as inspiration, students explored how to craft compelling fiction and separate the creative process from editing. The workshop was a fantastic opportunity for our passionate young writers to develop their skills and confidence in sharing their work. BSC thanks George and the Children's Book Council of Australia for the visit!

Book Week activities in the Library
Next week is Book Week! To celebrate, we are giving students the opportunity to go an adventure into book making. The aim is to create a beautiful, personalised notebook over each day in Break 2.
If you miss any days or steps it doesn’t matter, you can still come along and join in the creative process!
