Foundation to Year Two students practised good manners and simple classroom expressions in Mandarin. They chanted in Chinese numbers and sang Chinese nursery songs including ‘Ten little Friends’, ‘Two Tigers’ and ‘Little White Rabbit’. They also learnt a Mandarin gesture song ‘Listen to Me, Thank You’.

The students produced very impressive work with Mandarin key words.

The Middle students applied their Mandarin number skills to tell months, days of the week and produced a poster about their name, age, birthday date and the zodiac year they were born in Mandarin.

Nǐ hǎo!  你好!

Wǒ jiào Olivia. 我叫 Olivia。Wǒ bā suì.我八岁。

Wǒ de sheng rì shì wǔ yuè shí'èr rì.  我的生日是五月十二日。

Wǒ shǔ shé.我属蛇。
