Mr. Carlyle's Message

Hello families, and welcome to this week’s newsletter,
This week saw our state-wide orientation day across Victoria, which meant we had the pleasure of welcoming our 2026 Foundation students for one final time this term, and the mixed emotions of having our year 6 students attend their secondary schools for next year.
Ballan students met their classroom teachers and classmates for next year. Next year we will have 10 classes. So... let’s meet the team!
Classroom Structure
Our two Foundation classes will be taken by Ms Harney, with Ms Leehane.
Our 1/2 Class will be taken by Mr Ross.
Our 2/3 classes will be taken by Mrs Griffith, and Mr Heeps.
There will be two 3/4 classes next year. The first will be taken by Mrs Adcock, and Mr Moneghetti. We are delighted to have Mr Moneghetti returning to us after a year away.
Our 3 Senior Classes will be taken by Ms Nicholls, along with Mr Petersen and Mr Murrell. Mrs Hunter will share the class with Mr Murrell one day a week.
Our Specialist program will again be taken by Mrs Hunter, Mrs Demunk, Ms Spencer. Students will engage in the same specialist subjects across the school, being Science, Visual Art, PE and French.
Big Thanks
I also wanted to take the opportunity to thank our families for the support they’ve given us once again in 2025. We enjoy working in partnership with you to provide the best education for all of our students. On behalf of our staff, we hope you have a wonderful Christmas and manage to get some rest over the holiday period.
I want to thank all of our staff for the enormous effort they have once again put in for this school year. The lengths they go to support students and the learning they provide goes unmatched in my eyes, and we should be thankful for each and every one of them. Make sure you show them some love in the lead-up to the end of the year.
Finally, to our students, who should all be proud of their growth and achievement this year. I hope you rest up over the holidays, enjoy summer, and we look forward to seeing you all back, raring to go in 2026.
Enjoy the fun and festivities that December brings everybody, bye for now and have a great week.
