From the Year 2 Classroom

Wow, time is certainly flying by as we head into our last few weeks of Term. 

This week we have been revising concepts in all learning areas.

In Reading we are tuning into comprehension strategies to understand different types of text. 

In Writing we have started writing a Fractured Fairytale putting our own spin on 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'

In Maths we are learning about number patterns, increasing and decreasing, identifying the rule and continuing the pattern. 

Upcoming in week 8 we will begin practising for our End of Year Concert which will be held on Friday 28th November at 5.00pm in the MBP. 

The swimming program will be running in Week 9 which will be lots of fun, as well as exhausting. 

Please ensure your child has all they need to be prepared for this each day eg towel, bathers, sunscreen, hat. 

Finally we have a large number od jumpers in the lost property box In our area so if you are missing one please come in and have a look.
