Thank You for an Amazing Year!
As we wrap up another incredible year at Ironside, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to every P&C member and volunteer who helped make 2025 such a success and to all the members who brought a positive attitude to our meetings.
Because of the dedication, enthusiasm, and sheer hard work of our extraordinary volunteer community, we’ve delivered countless memorable experiences for our families. This year, our events brought the Ironside spirit to life. From community gatherings like the Family Picnic and the lively Election Day BBQ, to the much-loved Swim Club in Terms 1 and 4, which continues to be a highlight for so many of our children.
We also shared in the joy of our Mother’s Day Stall and Father’s Day Movie Night. And of course, we celebrated one of Ironside’s favourite traditions, the International Breakfast, a beautiful showcase of the rich cultural diversity that makes our school so special.
Every one of these activities was made possible by volunteers who cooked, organised, packed, set up, cleaned, coordinated, donated, or supported from behind the scenes. Thank you. Your generosity, commitment, and community spirit are truly the backbone of our P&C.
What Your Support Achieved in 2025
Thanks to the incredible fundraising efforts of our community, we contributed over $95,000 in donations toward enhancing facilities and gardens, learning resources, teacher wellbeing, and school programs.
We also have over $25,000 of projects currently in progress for new chilled water refill stations and historical signs and have committed to an additional $70,000 planned for future improvements across the school, including shade sails and improved seating areas.
Looking Ahead to 2026 - Spring Fair Year!
Next year brings one of Ironside’s biggest and most exciting community celebrations, the Spring Fair! Planning begins early, and we’d love to welcome new volunteers to the organising team. If you’re interested in helping bring this iconic event to life or even stepping into the role of Spring Fair Coordinator, please get in touch at secretary@ironsidepandc.org.au.

SWIM CLUB IS BACK!
Swim Club is returning on Friday evenings in Term 4, 2025 & Term 1, 2026!
If your child loves swimming, and is keen to participate in some timed races, Swim Club is the perfect relaxed and sociable place to do it. We run timed events in all strokes, starting with 25m and also offering 50m and 100m events for those who qualify.
It’s a wonderful way to meet new families and also for the kids to spend some time with their friends. There’s a fabulous BBQ on offer each club night and a canteen - both raising funds for the P&C.

2026 Year 6 Senior Polo - Pre-Order
Dear Year 5 Students and Parents/Guardians,
Please note that the Senior Polo will be available by pre-order only, and the Uniform Shop will not keep any stock. Orders, size changes, or late requests cannot be accepted outside the designated ordering periods.
Also note: Senior Polos are sized differently from regular school polos. We strongly encourage all students to try on a sample shirt at the Uniform Shop to confirm their size.
To assist with sizing, the Uniform Shop will be open extra during Wednesday second breaks throughout the pre-order periods, so students can come and try on sample shirts.
There will be two opportunities to place a pre-order.
1st Pre-Order
- Order Period: Term 3 Week 9 - Term 4 Week 2, 2025
- Order Deadline: Friday, 17 October, 2025
- Delivery to Students: Last week of Term 4, 2025
2nd (Final) Pre-Order
- Order Period: Term 1 Week 3 - Week 5, 2026
- Order Deadline: Friday, 27 February, 2026
- Delivery to Students: First week of Term 2, 2026

Volunteers Wanted! - Tuckshop & Uniform Shop
Dear School Community,
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out in our Tuckshop and Uniform Shop. These essential services rely on the generous support of our school families. Whether you can spare a regular time slot or help occasionally, any time you can offer is greatly appreciated. You’ll get a chance to see your child in the school environment. You can find quality second-hand uniforms early. No special skills or experience are needed.
