Principal's Message

 Dear Holy Family Parents,

Semester Two Reports

Today, Semester Two reports will be available for parents. These reports provide a comprehensive overview of your child’s learning progress, growth, and achievements throughout the second half of the year. They reflect not only academic development, but also the effort, perseverance, and personal qualities each child brings to their learning.

I would like to sincerely thank our dedicated teaching staff for the professionalism, care, and commitment they bring to the reporting process. Preparing these reports involves thoughtful assessment, detailed feedback, and a deep understanding of every student. I am grateful for the many hours our teachers invest to ensure each report accurately reflects each child’s learning journey.

Please note - if your child is leaving Holy Family at the end of this term please download their school reports and file somewhere safe.  These will be unavailable for you to download after 31.12.25 as Compass will not be available to you.

Staffing Update for 2026

As we begin preparing for an exciting year ahead, I would like to share with you the staffing plans for 2026. With continued growth in enrolments and the wonderful support of our community, next year our school will proudly operate as a two-stream school from Kindergarten to Year 4, and a single stream in Year 5 and 6. This is an important milestone for Holy Family and a reflection of our strong reputation as a nurturing and faith-filled learning community.

At the end of this year, we will be farewelling Mrs Ruth Coco, who will be taking 12 months maternity leave as she prepares to welcome her first baby. Ruth has been a valued member of our staff, and her passion, dedication, and care for students have made a significant impact. We wish her and her family every blessing during this very special time.

We are delighted to welcome several new staff members to Holy Family in 2026:

  • Miss Anna Sheehan – Anna brings extensive teaching experience and a strong commitment to student-centred learning. She will be teaching KG next year.
  • Mrs Trudi Webb – Trudi is an experienced teacher joining us from St Philip Neri. She will be working alongside Mrs Stella in Year 3W, and we are very fortunate to have her join our Stage 2 team.
  • Mrs Michelle Gibbs, an experienced and highly regarded educator, will be joining our teaching staff to take on Mrs Coco’s role as sports teacher. Michelle is familiar to the students as she has undertaken casual teaching in Term 4. We look forward to welcoming Mrs Gibbs.

We look forward to the expertise, enthusiasm, and fresh perspectives these teachers will bring to our school.

Our Diverse Learning Team will continue to provide outstanding support to students, families, and staff. In 2026 the team will include:

  • Leader of Diverse Learning: Lynda Jones (M–Th), Mrs Maria Kemp (Mon. & Wed.) & Mrs Sally Briggs (Th.)
  • Learner Diversity Support Assistants (LSA): Anthea Hunter and Carolina McCawley

This team works closely with teachers to support the diverse learning needs of all students, ensuring every child is known, valued, and cared for.

We are grateful for the continued work of our School Support Team, who contribute so much to the smooth running of our school:

  • Administration & Front Office: Anthea Thomas and Bel O’Shannessy
  • Parent Engagement Coordinator: Anne Gray

Each of these staff members plays an important role in strengthening community connections and ensuring our families feel welcomed and supported.
