Dear Families

As we approach the end of term, our teachers are completing the student’s semester 1 reports. These reports are more than just a summary of academic progress—they are a celebration of each student’s unique learning journey.

In our school community, we understand that traditional report reading may not always be a shared experience between students and families. That’s why our reports are designed to reflect not only curriculum achievements but also the personal growth, resilience, and milestones that matter most to each learner.

These reports offer families a window into the classroom: the small victories, the breakthroughs, and the moments of happiness that define our students’ days. Whether it’s a new communication skill, a step toward independence, or a creative moment, we aim to capture the essence of each child’s development.

I encourage you to reach out if you would like to discuss your child’s report further so we can continue to be in partnership with you to support and celebrate your child’s learning and development. 

I would like to acknowledge the teachers for their work in preparing the reports but also for wholeheartedly knowing each of their students. This deep knowledge is enriched through close collaboration with our allied health team who provide invaluable insights into student needs and strengths. Together, this creates a more complete picture that reflects the whole child.

The cool weather has certainly reminded us that it is winter but with that has come some beautiful and much-needed rain and we are so grateful for this!
