Celebrating Learning

We recently finished a main lesson on place value. The children consolidated and extended their place value understanding. They are now getting really good at renaming numbers to the thousands and making paddle pop stick bundles!

We have now moved into a literacy focused main lesson ‘Animal Fables’. These stories allow us to have deep and meaningful discussion about morals and different behaviour of characters leads to different outcomes. They have loved hearing the stories and then writing about them the next day, some even writing their own. 

We continue to enjoy singing, poetry and games every morning. The crisp morning air and running around outside every morning wakes us up, that's for sure!
