STEM

This term in STEM, students have been diving into the exciting world of stop motion animation, with a special focus on Claymation. In a special collaboration between STEM and Art & Craft, students have been engineering their own characters out of clay during Art sessions, bringing their creativity to life.
As we move into the final weeks of the unit, students are now beginning to film their final animations using the clay characters they’ve designed, along with props and sets they carefully crafted. It’s been wonderful to see their storytelling ideas take shape frame by frame, with each scene thoughtfully planned through their storyboards.
This week, we’re also introducing editing techniques and exploring how sound effects can bring even more personality and polish to their projects. Students will experiment with timing, transitions and audio elements to enhance their final creations.
It’s been great to watch students combine creativity with technical skills in such a hands-on and engaging way. Keep up the awesome work students at STEM Studios!
