Calling All Bunting Cutters!

Calling all bunting cutters! On Friday 30th we are holding another bunting cutting session in the Italian room from 9-11:30. Come for the whole time, or 30 minutes. We are grateful for any time you can spare. Please sign in at the office on arrival. Bring dressmaking or pinking shears. Toddlers, babies, and preschoolers are welcome. 

Earring Making Donations:

A generous parent has offered to make earrings to sell at the Fair. Some of you may have been lucky enough to received a pair of these from the mother's day stall. To keep her costs down, we are looking for donations of earring making hardware. So if you have any earring hooks, studs, or backs etc she would be very grateful to use these. 

She is also going to make up bracelet making kits to sell at the fair. These need donations of kid friendly beads eg beads with bright colours which are easy for kids to thread. So if any of you have stashes of beads that you are looking to move on, please consider donating them to us.

Working with Children Checks (WWCC):

I had a fab question asked of me the other day regarding WWCCs and fair volunteering. If you are planning on helping in the lead up to the fair for any of the sessions we are running (eg bunting cutting and anything else in the future), then you need a WWCC. Even if the volunteering isn't face to face with children, to be on the RPS site, you will need one. They are very easy to get, and are free for volunteers. Please make sure you choose Rosanna Primary as your organisation, and the office will get notification of this when it is approved. Please note, we don't require WWCCs for parents/carers volunteering on the day of the fair, but if in doubt, it wont hurt to get one anyway.
