What we have been up to...

This week, we have been learning all about sloths. We enjoyed reading the story, The Speedy Sloth, and writing facts about sloths.

For Maths, students have been strengthening their mental computation strategies for addition and subtraction, using techniques like bridging to 10, doubles and near doubles, and halving numbers.

Over the past fortnight, as part of our unit on Stimulating Science. the focus was on living and nonliving things. We conducted an experiment, using celery and coloured water to demonstrate how plants need water to survive.
