In Mathematics, we have begun working on Time. Exploring a range of concepts from reading clocks and timetables, looking at world time zones and converting units of time. We have also completed some work on probability, looking at the difference between 'theoretical' and 'experimental' probability.
Our Literacy work has continued to focus on our novel study, 'Storm Boy'. Students have been analysing the story elements, themes and looking closely at the vocabulary and features of the writing from author Colin Thiele. We are also developing our comprehension skills, watching BtN and reading related texts learning about refugees and migrants in Australia.
Our Science work has continued with students exploring different concepts such as electricity, geology and chemistry.
