Grade Three / Four

We have enjoyed a wonderful couple of weeks with our students, and they are well overdue for a public holiday this coming weekend.  

Next week we commence our formal testing. It is very important that students are here on time for the start of the day because our testing commences at 9am on each day. We want students to perform at their best and this involves being calm and settled in their learning environment before we commence at 9am.  

In Maths we have been learning about Length and Perimeter. Here are some pictures of what we have been doing.  

In English students have just finished their factual recount writing unit. They loved learning about the history of the Aboriginal Flag and how this flag came to become an important symbol within Australian culture.  

In ERP students are excited to have commenced their research about a specific country which relates to their interest. For example- Italy and Soccer. The students are now researching specific geographical facts related to their chosen country of choice.  

BASKETBALL 3/4

A huge thanks to our Recreation Leaders for planning a basketball tournament for the 3/4 students. They coordinated teams, refereed and coached during both breaks. Big shout-out to Mr. L for overseeing the games today!
