Sovereign Division Soccer

We had two teams compete in the Sovereign Division Soccer Tournament at the Ballarat Regional Soccer fields. Both teams had a fantastic day and did our school proud.

Sovereign Division AFL 9s

Games were held on Wednesday 21st May at Marty Busch Reserve, Sebastopol.

Firstly, all our players did amazing, worked hard and had a go. Secondly, going into our first game we took on Black Hill and sadly did not do good, getting smashed. Going into round 2, the same as the first round getting thumped. The third round was Dana Street. Zayden kicked 2 goals and sadly losing our final game to Grammar. If you didn’t know Grammar, we got thumped but we all had a good effort. Matt & Riley

We started the day with a bumpy start. We rose up to the challenge and took on Black Hill. Unfortunately, we took a loss to them. After a small break we took on Grammar. We unfortunately did not make a comeback, but in our 3rd game we eventually scored a win against Buninyong with new improvements from the second game. Our last game we tried our best but unfortunately lost to Clarendon College. Some of our star players were Amelia P and Ella P. Charlotte & Khayem

We started the day with a loss to Buninyong. During the second game we were getting warmed up for a great fight. In the third game sadly, we still lost and in the fourth we lost to Grammar, but we still had fun! Jeremy & Deakin.

Regional Cross Country

Huon and Brydie travelled to Warrnambool after qualifying to compete in the regional level Cross Country. It was an amazing experience for them both and Huon is excited to move on to the State Championships finishing 9th in a strong field of 59 runners. Congratulations to Brydie for competing in her first Regional Cross Country and running strongly. Thank you to the parents for transporting and supporting our students.
