Celebrating Learning

In the last few weeks we have been exploring different vowel sounds, through story, repetition and rhyme. It has been fun discovering all the different ways that the same sounds can be made, English is a very exciting language! 

In maths we have been looking at shapes and numbers. How shapes can be put together and pulled apart to make other shapes and how numbers can do the same thing. One of our favourite number games this week has been a game called make 10, in which the kids have many dice and have to make 10 in as many ways that they can, with 2 or more dice.

Skipping has continued to be a hit and we have been counting how many skips we can do as a whole class! Which has enabled us to count very far!! Well done kids!
