Celebrating Learning

Wind and heat beneath our feet, making chaos as we meet, 

making chaos as we meet, wind and heat beneath our feet.

Hear the thunder hear the roar, fear the mighty rain's downpour,

With fire and rain comes new birth, the children love mother earth, 

the children love mother earth, with fire and rain comes new birth.

We have been hearing and enacting the story of The Little Flame, dancing the elements, and taking care of Mother Earth.  We are taking care of each other as well with our sharing words and caring hands, settling in with rhythm, inspiring language, play and friendship. 

We have enjoyed celebrating our January birthdays with cake, crown, wand, and gown woven from the sun, moon, and stars, radiating the warmth, connection, and magic within us. The birthday-star children have enjoyed walking along the rainbow bridge receiving wishes from us. 

We have been sharing books and drawings in the library with our buddies as well as playing games and eating lunch outside together. 

I will let the children tell you what we made with clay and what was in their invisible painting.
