Wellbeing

Welcoming Angie Mashford-Scott

In week 7, we welcome Angie Mashford-Scott to the wellbeing team.

Angie will be working 1:1 and in small groups with students on Mondays,

Tuesdays and Wednesdays at TPS as part of her graduate studies in

counselling and will be overseen by Anna Baker, the Mental Health

 and Wellbeing Leader.

Angie has a degree in psychology and is also a qualified early childhood

teacher. She is currently studying a Graduate Diploma of Counselling

at Deakin University to meet the requirements to become a registered

counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association.

Angie has many years’ experience working with children across a

range of settings including childcare, kindergarten, early therapeutic

intervention and the home. Most recently, Angie has been working

as a lecturer and researcher in the area of children's wellbeing and

inclusion in education settings. She loves forming connections with

children and has a particular interest in supporting children to build

their social-emotional skills and their sense of wellbeing at school.

She is very excited to work with the children and community at TPS

for the remaining weeks of Term 1 and the first couple of weeks of

Term 2.
