Gr 3/4 NETBALL CLINICS

Thanks to Danielle and Casey Netball the Gr 3/4 students had a fantastic time during their netball clinics. They were able to experience a new sport and perhaps for some students it maybe something they want to take up out of school.

If students are interested in doing netball out of school hours, there will be a flyer in the Community section of the newsletter.

GRADE 6 BIKE EDUCATION

Next week our Grade 6's will begin their 2nd level of Bike Education: Pathways. They will begin on the school grounds recapping the skills learnt last year. Students will need to bring their bikes and helmets to school Friday morning and leave in front of their Learning Space in the morning. If parents are dropping off bicycles, students are able to leave them in the bike shed for the duration of the program. If it is raining heavily, please leave bicycles at home.

For the remainder of the sessions students will be using the skills they have learnt, riding on pathways in the community. We will also be looking for some parent helpers to ride with the students once they begin the pathways program. To assist you must have a current Working with Children Check registered with the school office.

If you are able to ride a bike and assist between 11.35 am -1.30 pm on the following days: Friday March 1st, Friday March 8th, Friday March 15th and Friday March 22nd, please contact me at gfaiola@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!

GR 3/4 RUGBY CLINICS

Once again we have been lucky enough to receive free Rugby Clinics from National Rugby League Victoria. Grade 3/4 students will be involved in these clinics on Friday March 1st. Parents will be provided with further information via Operoo closer to the day.
