Y11 Camp

In week three of term one the year 11’s went on a camp trip to Canberra. Many of us have had a really fantastic time at camp and created many beautiful memories during our trip. The school camp was a fantastic experience that not only provided us with new skills and knowledge but also allowed us to form closer bonds with our classmates. It was a journey of learning and fun that we will cherish for years to come. Leaving camp was sad, but we were happy for the memories and friendships/relationships we made. Our camp was not just a trip, but a time where we learned to grow and have a great time together.

During our time at camp we had the exciting opportunity to visit the Australian National University. While there, we participated in activities related to subjects we were interested in, like chemistry and biology. These hands on experiences helped us better understand these subjects and some of us even got inspired to think about our future careers. For us , this painted a vivid picture of what university life could look like. It showed us the importance of exploring different subjects and how they can shape our future paths. It was a valuable experience that set a clear direction for our future studies and career aspirations.

One of the most enjoyable parts of our camp was our visit to the Aqua Water Park. With the hot weather in Canberra, it was the perfect way to cool off and have some fun. The students had a great time splashing around in the water, going down slides, and just enjoying the day. It was a refreshing break from our other activities and a memorable experience for everyone.

The 2024 school camp was full of fun and new experiences. We bonded over late night talks and sneaking out of our cabins, had lots of new and memorable experiences and had a blast at the various activities we did. It was a great time for making friends and trying new things.
