LENTEN CALENDAR

Lent is a time of growing our relationship with Jesus. Through prayer, fasting and almsgiving children are able spend some time with God and to feel the Holy Spirit working in them and through them. 

Lenten Calendar; Each day has an idea, an encouragement or a prayer to lead children through Lent and get ready for Easter.

First Eucharist Commitment Masses

Last weekend we celebrated the First Eucharist Commitment Masses. At these masses the parents and children asked of the church the sacrament of First Eucharist for the children and the parish pledged to support these families in this important faith milestone. This was a lovely celebration of what is both an important step in the faith journey of the children but also an important parish celebration of the sacrament of First Eucharist for our young parishners.
