Instrumental lessons, Ensembles and Hamilton Eisteddfod Entries   

The term certainly gets busy quickly and students are reminded to get and stay organised.  That includes checking noticeboards, regularly checking Teams and emails, and attending lessons and rehearsals promptly.  We have been thrilled to see a wide range of performers in Assemblies lately with student musicians from Year 7 through to Year 12.  

Last week featured Isla Reily and Lily Giles with Mr Horne and Mr Hiscock, and this week our Middle Years focus was a great success with clarinettists, Sophie Nagorcka, Billy Carmody and Geogina McDonald and singers Grace Haldane and Zoe Bell leading the whole school with The Killing Tree, from The Hunger Games. As we head towards the end of term and the Easter Service, our choir and instrumental ensemble rehearsals are vital. Please don't forget!  

Hamilton Eisteddfod entries are now open.  College Ensembles will be entered by the Music Office.  Individual entrants are to be made by parents via the Stardom Website. Teachers can advise students and parents about suitable sections for entry.  https://www.stardom.com.au/
