Student Community Achievements

We would like to congratulate the following students on being selected by the Whitehorse Council for community roles.  Both students applied for these positions and sat interviews during the summer holidays.

My name is April Stacey from Year 8 and I was selected to join the Whitehorse Council’s youth services events team - Freeza Flying Pigs.

Freeza Flying Pig events committee organizes supervised and drug/alcohol free events for young people aged between 12-25 years old.  These include music and cultural events which give young artists and local musicians performance opportunities. I help organize these events with 10 other people, learning management skills and how the events industry works.
