3/4 CLASSROOM

Welcome back to term 2! 

This term the teachers started off the term by becoming the learners, completing 3 days of professional development. Our learning was focused on the science of learning, this was a great opportunity for us to understand how our students learn and how we can best support them in their learning. 

This week we jumped straight into learning, We were really impressed by the way our students returned from 3 weeks of holidays and how they were ready to learn from the get go. Everyone has adapted really well to having Mrs Cummins in the classroom, we have been enjoying her new and fresh ideas that she has been bringing to our space. 

To begin our term we will be covering the following topics:

Maths: Fractions (wow they are doing really well with understanding these concepts so far!)

English: Recount writing and studying an Indigenous novel called Yirra and her deadly dog Deamon. 

Religion: Celebrating the Gifts of the Spirit

Inquiry: Living things (biological science).
