2025 RSC Club Championships

We hope you are all getting ready for the RSC Club Championships on Sunday!
Dryland: 12:45 - 1:15pm

We will need some help setting up the chairs and marshalling area. If parents/families could come to the clubroom while the swimmers are doing their dryland to help it would be much appreciated! We will also need parents to help with timekeeping.

At the end of all the racing, we hold some fun events. You will have the opportunity to enter these events via a sign-up sheets on the day.
Junior/Senior relay and Parent/Child relay........This is a 2X25m relay. (you only need to swim 1/2 the length of the pool.)
Junior/Senior is one swimmer 12/under and one 13/over. You nominate a time you think you will finish in and the closest pair to their time wins - This is not a race and has a bit more strategy!
The Parent/Child is the same thing. 2X 25m and closest to your nominated time wins. We will hold enough heats of the parent/child relay to accommodate those parents with multiple kids. You may just get to swim 2 or 3 times.....If your parent can't swim or doesn't want to, uncles, aunties, grandparents are all welcome.
Over the years, a few coaches have even jumped in (but ineligible to win the event.) Juniors - these will be plenty of seniors happy to partner you in the Junior/Senior relay on the day, so you don't need to partner-up beforehand (unless you want to). Most Seniors will be happy to swim multiple times if the numbers don't quite work.
Dash4cash is basically the same- $5 entry (cash on the day only) Nominate the time you think you will swim a 50m freestyle sprint, and the closest to their time wins the cash! The more entrants, the more cash is in the prize pool.
The winner of the Dash4Cash and the novelty relays will be announced at Presentation night on 14th June.
