NUMERACY

The Preps have have done an incredible job so far this year with their learning during maths. Students have learnt to count, subitise and sequence and have developed their ability to write numbers really well! We've been looking at 10 frames collections with 2 parts, have been solving addition problems and have been using bundling sticks to represent and count by 10s!

This term, we will be continuing on with our EMP program where we will continue to learn addition strategies, make and say 2-digit numbers, and begin learning about subtraction. We'll also be looking at topics such as capacity, mass, area and 3D objects.
