Sport

It’s been a busy fortnight in PE at Rangeview!
Here are some of the highlights.
Team Victoria Basketball (National Finals)
Congratulations to our very own National Basketball Champion!! 🏆 Collette was a crucial part of the Victorian team that took home gold in a tense Grand Final in Queensland on Friday! The students thoroughly enjoyed watching their fellow classmate on TV and cheered loudly. On behalf of the RPS community we are so incredibly proud of Collette for this amazing achievement!! Thank you to her family for all their support of her Basketball journey!
Eastern Regional Netball Finals
Congratulations to our Boys team who competed at the Eastern Regional Finals today at Jells Park!
The boys had an incredible day, winning 4 games to earn their place in the Grand Final. After a tough battle, they narrowly missed out on the top spot, finishing Runners Up in the Region🥈an outstanding achievement!
We are so proud of the way the boys represented the school, showing great teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship throughout the day.
A big thank you to the wonderful families who provided such vocal & enthusiastic support from the sidelines.

Level 2 Hoop Time Mini’s
Our Level 2 students had a fantastic time at the Hoop Time Minis Day at Nunawading Stadium! The day was filled with learning new basketball skills, putting them into practice, and enjoying some exciting games against other schools. A huge thank you to Ms Hubbard and Mr Le for all their organisation and support in making the day run so smoothly, and to the parents who came along to cheer on and help coach the kids. It was a wonderful experience for our young players and a great opportunity to build confidence and teamwork.
Level 4 Sports Extension
Our Term 3 Sports Extension group has loved their first few sessions. Their first excursion was to F45 Mitcham, where they completed a full fitness circuit, testing their strength, endurance, and teamwork skills. Students worked through a variety of challenging stations, pushed themselves
outside their comfort zones, and came away feeling proud of their efforts and achievements.
