Foundation 'Mad About Science'
On Wednesday the 6th of August, Foundation students participated in a 90 minute 'Mad About Science' Incursion to coincide with their Term 3 Science inquiry unit.
Students were immersed in the wonderful science of toys, exploring energies, materials, movement and sound. Students were able to spin some colour, use magnets to draw and even make their own balancing toy to take home.
Level 4 Latrobe Wetlands Excursion
On Friday 8th August, our Level 4 students visited the Latrobe University Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary. The excursion was designed to coincide with the Level 4 Inquiry Unit "Friends or Foe' to explore the relationships between animals and plants, learn how living things have life cycles and depend on each another and the environment to survive.
During the excursion, students participated in activities including dip netting, investigating plants and animals using microscopes.

Level 1 Grandparents Visit
On Tuesday 12th August our Level 1 students had a visit from some very important people, their Grandparents! Grandparents visit afternoon was to coincide with all that our students have been learning about in their Term 3 Inquiry unit 'Past and Present'. Our very special guests bought in old fashioned games to play with our students.
