Today is a great day to be you!

RAFT Taskmaster Event

Coming up on Sunday 14th September, our wonderful RAFT - RAngeview Fathering Tribe - will be hosting their next highly anticipated event!

The TV Show, Taskmaster, has taken over the world - and it's time it came to Rangeview.

RAFT Rangeview Taskmaster will run at the school from 1:00pm - 3:00pm on Sunday 14th September. More information to come, but we wanted to ensure we gave everyone a full month to lock this one into the calendar, register using the flyer/QR Code below, and come along to enjoy a really fun couple of hours!

A reminder that duty of care and supervision at RAFT events remain with the parents/carers. For this event, we require teams of TWO. It could be two siblings (or your child and a friend) with supervision from a parent/carer, or you might like to register as the playing partner with your child. Registrations via the QR Code are essential to allow the RAFT team to map out their plan for resources/equipment.

On Thursday 14th August, our Year 6 students participated in a full day Student Leadership incursion called ASPIRE. The day was facilitated by an experienced educator from UPP (Unleashing Personal Potential) to empower students thrive as they learn, live and lead.

The workshops were divided into three sessions:

  • Session 1 - Leading with or without the badge through example, influence and kindness.
  • Session 2 - The Epic Race - an outdoor, fast-paced team event that used the A.S.P.I.R.E. framework with multiple challenges for the students.
  • Session 3 - Knowing Me, Growing Me -understanding individual strengths and the strengths of others.

Congratulations to our Year 6 students for taking part in such an informative and rewarding day. We hope you all takeaway some valuable messages that help shape you as a leader.
