An Iconic Afternoon With the 3/4s!

Over the past several weeks, our enthusiastic Grade 3/4 students have been hard at work researching an important Australian for their Aussie Icon Afternoon. As part of their homework, students explored key facts about their chosen Aussie, including their birth details, what they are famous for, the impact they have had on Australia, and other interesting life highlights.

On July 1st, our classrooms came alive as students dressed up as their Aussie Icons and proudly presented their poster boards to their peers, teachers, and visiting families. It was wonderful to see students confidently sharing their knowledge and answering questions while everyone wandered through the classrooms, reading the beautifully presented boards and learning about so many remarkable Australians.

It was a fun, informative, and successful afternoon celebrating our young researchers and their impressive hard work. Well done, 3/4s! You made your Aussie Icons proud!
