Senior Students learning about light
Our Grade 5 and 6 students have just started commencing their journey about learning about physical sciences. This first fortnight, they have been spending time learning about the reflecting, refracting and absorbing elements of light. Basically, how light bounces, can be altered, and can be absorbed.
There have been a lot of mini experiments being undertaken so far, and the students are loving the science behind it all.
Responsible use of iPads
As part of our commitment to creating safe and respectful digital learners, we’d like to remind students and families about the importance of responsible iPad use—both at school and at home.
- iPads are learning tools, not toys—please moderate the use of your devices.
- Devices should be fully charged and brought to school each day, ready for learning.
- At home, we recommend iPads be used in shared spaces (not bedrooms) and turned off at bedtime.Remind your child never to take photos or videos of others without permission.
Let’s work together to help our students become safe, respectful and responsible digital citizens!
If you have any questions or need support with device settings or safety tools, feel free to contact the school.
