Alternate Programs

Welcome back! We hope you had a restful break. As we begin Term 3, we are ready to continue our work with you and your children. Our staff are always here to support you, so please reach out to the relevant staff members if you have any questions or need assistance.

As we move through Term 3, we are beginning to plan for 2026. Now is a good time to start discussing with your children their goals for the rest of the year and what they would like their school experience to look like next year. Your input and their goals are important in shaping our plans.  Later this term we will hold another round of Parent-Teacher Interviews, where classes will be cancelled to allow for important discussions about your child’s future direction. Please speak to your child's teachers if you would like to have a conversation earlier than this though. We are always open to discussing your child's progress and any concerns you might have.

I would also like to acknowledge and thank Ebony Tate for her contributions at Alternate Programs over the last two years, and particularly at McKenzie Creek for the first semester of this year.  Ebony has taken some well-earned leave through term 3 and we are excited to hear about her travels and adventures!
