âHow good and pleasant it is when Godâs people live together in unity.âÂ
â Psalm 133:1 (NIV)
Â
In the holidays, my family and I had the incredible opportunity to explore Vietnam â a country rich in history, colour, and culture. From the vibrant streets of Hanoi to the peaceful beaches and temples of Da Nang, the experience opened hearts and minds to the beauty that exists in cultures different from our own. Travel reminds us that the world is wonderfully diverse â and by Godâs design. In Vietnam, families gather for meals full of flavour, markets burst with fresh produce and friendly faces, and ancient traditions are woven through daily life. It's a place where old and new live side by side, and every moment is a reminder that God's creativity is boundless. As I reflect on our journey, I am filled with gratitude â for the people we met, the stories we heard, and the kindness we received. Weâre reminded that no matter where we are in the world, we are all part of Godâs global family. In a world often divided by difference, let us instead be united by love, understanding, and appreciation. Let us celebrate cultural diversity as a gift that deepens our faith, widens our perspectives, and brings joy to our lives. May our school community continue to value the richness that comes from sharing, learning, and growing together â at home and across the world.
Loving God, thank You for the beauty of different cultures and the chance to learn from others. Help us to always be grateful, open-hearted, and united in Your love. Amen.
