🎙️A SPECIAL EDITION. The Race That Stops A Nation 🐽🏆
🧘♀️100 IN THE HALL🧘♀️
What a way to finish last term! A culmination of so much hard work from so many students. Our world famous guinea pig racing team 🤩, sign makers 🖼️, chaperones 😎, fire carriers 🔥, crowds, bird cage security 🐔🦆, medal designers 🥇, choir 😇 and more.
A couple of Big M’s to thank too. The greatest commentator in the world Matt Hill 🤩 calling the ‘race’ and the magnificent Mick Sharkie 🤩 for filming and helping to bring it all together. Both men then stayed around with Jonah, Nella and Grace 👏 to answer a few questions and tour around our garden.
Mr Wood, Mrs Douglas, Mrs Davies, and Mrs Stefanec 😍 worked tirelessly on production and our mighty garden team is grateful for all their energy, spirit and support 🥳. Thank you to all staff who helped in any way to make this a success. Our garden team is very grateful 🙏.
The race was live beamed 🎥 into every classroom and out into the ether 💫. It was watched live in places as far away as a Port Douglas Cafe ☕️ and a local nursing home. It has been viewed upward of 90,000 times on social media 😱. That’s almost enough people to pack the mighty MCG on grand final day 🤍🖤🏆!
You can relive all the action on our socials if you missed it…..Oh and the winner was Dash 🥇, Giggles 🥈and Snowy a surprise 🥉. Our beautiful Lunar 😍 won fashions on the field. The natural look is definitely in this year. Of course she did not make it off the start line in the race 🤭.
🙏❤️Our mighty garden team is looking for anyone who is interested in fashion and/or photography for an exciting new guinea pig project. Contact details below❤️🙏.
🙏ONE HUNDRED IN THE HALL🧘- Ripple, Rumble, Rock Yoga continues to be a huge success. Many thanks to 💜Mr Wood and Mrs Douglas💜 for all their help and support. We will be back next Wednesday 7.45am in the year 6 multi purpose room as we continue to ☀️ ripple a few good vibes 🙏 out into the world. We encourage parents to join us 🙃. Prep to Year 2 students accompanied by a parent are most welcome and encouraged to come 💫. The aim is to have a yoga celebration morning where we get ‘💯 in the hall’ performing our much loved St Louis Salutation. Stay tuned for the date. 🎶good good good good vibrations……Let’s keep the good vibes rumbling on 😎.
