Skippers Ticket

This week, 36 students completed the theory assessment for their Recreational Skipper’s Ticket, achieving our best-ever pass rate. 

 

We now look forward to the practical sessions. Below are the proposed dates and groups for these sessions. Please let me know if your child is unable to attend on their scheduled day.

Dowerin/Muresk Excursion

Year 11 Farm Focus students will be attending a three-day camp from 25–27 August. The excursion will involve a tour through the Wheatbelt, visiting various agricultural businesses, and attending the Dowerin Field Day. Students will be residing at the Muresk Institute in Northam. Information has been sent home to parents, and consent and payment need to be completed by Thursday, 14 August.

 

Headspace Sessions

Next week, facilitators from Headspace will visit the College to speak with Year 11 and 12 students.

  • Year 12 - Session on transitioning from school (during the day program).

  • Year 11 - Session on self-care and maintaining mental health (during residential time).

Year 11 Day students who wish to attend the residential session are welcome. See Mr Swallow if you wish to attend.
