Neil - Year 6 Leader

What's your most used emoji?

The 'tram emoji'  (aka🚡). Tell you what, the 🚡 emoji used to be the least used emoji before, but now it fills up the comments section in YouTube Shorts.

If you could instantly master one skill, what would it be?

Typing. I am a slow writer.

If you could shout out 1 staff member right now, who would you choose?

Just saying, if I chose one staff member, the others would get offended, so no, I can't.

Hasika - Year 6 Leader

What's your most used emoji?

My most used emoji would be this one - 😎

What is your proudest achievement?

My proudest achievement would be becoming a Freeman House Captain.

Number 1 bucket list travel destination and why?

My number 1 bucket list destination is New Zealand because I have heard that it is one of the safest countries and it has so many cool places. It is also a very tranquil place with kind people and nice environment.

Why did you chose to be a student leader?

I chose to be a student leader because I wanted to be a role model to the other students, try to change the College in a good way, give a hand to teachers and last but not least, show student pride.

Sherin - Year 9 College Captain

What is your secret skill/talent?

Something a lot of people don't know about me is that I love singing, and I actually sing with the Australian Girls Choir (AGC). It's been such an awesome experience being part of a group where we get to perform, have fun and improve our skills together. Singing helps me relax and express myself, and being on stage (even when it's a bit scary) is always exciting. AGC has definitely become a big part of who I am, and I'm really proud to be part of it.

Do you have any fears/phobias?

One of my biggest fears is not being prepared, especially for things like tests, performances or even meetings. I seriously can't stand the feeling of walking into something important and not knowing what's going on. It stresses me out, so I always try to stay organised and plan ahead. Being prepared just helps me feel more confident (and way less panicked!)

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?

Definitely "Hall of Fame" by The Script. It's all about pushing yourself, standing out and leaving your mark, which is something I really connect with. I love public speaking and one day I'd love to get into politics, so the whole idea of inspiring others and aiming high just fits. It's got the right mix of ambition and confidence, with a responsible edge.
