Proactive Policing Unit Incursion

Our Year 6 students recently participated in an educational session with the Proactive Policing Unit about cyberbullying, bullying-related offences, and their legal consequences.

The presentation gave students valuable perspective on how their actions carry serious and lasting impacts, whether online or offline. Officers highlighted that digital footprints are permanent and emphasized the importance of respectful interactions in all settings. This preventative approach helped students understand how today's digital choices can affect their future opportunities and relationships.

We encourage families to extend this learning by discussing respectful online behaviour, the permanence of digital actions, and appropriate responses when cyberbullying is witnessed or experienced.

Together, we can support our students in becoming responsible digital citizens who treat others with kindness and respect in all interactions.
