 🎉 What a Sizzling Success! – Election Day      BBQ & Bake Sale Raises $3,396.34! 🎉

We’re thrilled to share that our 2025 Federal Election BBQ & Bake Sale fundraiser was a sizzling success, raising an incredible $3,396.34 in net profit! Every dollar will go towards supporting our wonderful school community, and it couldn’t have happened without your generosity and support.

A massive thank you goes out to the amazing team of volunteers who gave up their Saturday to cook, serve, sell, and smile – you made the day run smoothly and brought such great energy to the event.

We are also extremely grateful to our generous sponsors:

• Harcourts Langwarrin – for providing the sausages, bacon, and even the signboard! 🌭🥓

And to everyone who baked, bought, and supported us on the day – thank you! Your contributions made this fundraiser not just profitable, but truly heartwarming.

The School Council is currently reviewing the best way to allocate these funds to meet our school’s most important needs. We’ve already committed $1,000 towards a much-needed new dishwasher for the staffroom – the current one is over 20 years old and being held together with more hope than hardware!

While fundraising is always focused on benefiting our students, this small investment in our staff sends a powerful message: we value and appreciate our teachers. Supporting their wellbeing – even in simple, practical ways – contributes to better mental health and a more positive work environment. And that’s good for everyone, especially our kids.

The remaining funds will be allocated based on a careful ranking of priorities to ensure they have the greatest impact.

• Upgrading the Grade 2 playground, with quotes currently being sourced
• Supporting the roll-out of our new STEM program, including investment in essential resources and materials
