Student Voice & Leadership

Student Leadership Day

On Friday 20th June, our school will host a special Student Leadership Day, bringing together nearly 120 student leaders from across our school community, along with student leaders from local primary schools.

The day is designed to:

  • Develop leadership skills
  • Strengthen school culture
  • Showcase our values of Respect, Opportunity, and Resilience

A key highlight of the day will be two engaging leadership workshops run by The School of Play, renowned for their work in youth leadership and wellbeing education.

Student leaders will participate in three key sessions:

  • The School of Play: Next Generation Leadership - a values-based workshop exploring purpose and initiative planning through hands-on, team-based challenges.
  • The School of Play: The FunShop - a wellbeing-focused session designed to build connection and inclusion through playful and engaging activities.
  • Team Building Activity - A collaborative, initiative-based challenge to strengthen bonds between student leaders across year levels.

These sessions are interactive, dynamic, and designed to leave students with valuable skills they can apply in the classroom, school yard, broader community—and life beyond school.

The day will conclude with a BBQ lunch (provided) and promises to be a fun, inspiring, and memorable experience for all involved.

Kind regards,
