Food allergies and sharing of food guidelines

We wish to remind parents that students are not permitted to share their food ie lunch or treats. Students are not to swap their food or give away their treats. In the event of a student not having their lunch, the teacher will attempt to contact the parents or arrange a suitable alternative sandwich and a piece of fruit (taking into account the student’s dietary needs). Students are encouraged not to bring any food product to the school that is known to contain nuts. Teachers do inform their students of the dangers associated with food sharing and in particular egg, dairy and nut allergies and reactions that some children can have if those children touch or digest these products due to the potential of them having an anaphylactic reaction.

Update on school uniform

At our information sessions in February we announced that we had commenced exploring a change of student uniform and this created much excitement! Shortly after our announcement, we were made aware of the sale of RHU to our new supplier, Spartan. This meant that we needed to start new discussions with a new company. During the discussions, we were made aware that the company is holding a significant amount of stock that has slowed down the process. We are now working hard on this and are hopeful to be able to introduce a new uniform for the start of 2026. We have taken on board feedback from our families about green bottoms and we are pleased to share that students are now able to wear black or green pants, skirts, shorts etc. Students are not permitted to wear heavily branded athletic wear, such as 2XU or similar. If your children change to wearing black bottoms, they are required to be plain black without embellishments. We will keep you informed on our journey with this.
