Group 3

Group 3 have had a busy term 2 and we are extremely proud of all their achievements.

In the classroom, they have enjoyed exploring and learning all about the farm. They have been developing their social communication skills using fun activities with great success. Some students have been working on using their individual communication devices with amazing independence. They have been working on turn taking, sharing, waiting, helping collecting materials during group circle and making a preferred choice using objects/visuals. We also celebrated some of our classmates’ birthdays, reconciliation week and education week. 

During education week there was a visit from the Silly Scientist and a big focus was placed on STEM. They explored coding using the Sphero Indi and made paper aeroplanes. During reconciliation week, they learned about the aboriginal colours and their meanings. They explored the colours through arts and crafts.

We are looking forward to having more fun in term 3!
