Group 21

Group 21 has had a highly productive Term 2. Each week we have completed activities designed to replicate experiences that students might come across in the outside world. We have completed weekly jobs relating to helping keep the school and the environment clean and tidy. Each week we collect the paper recyclables from around the school and help with delivering them to the local recycling plant. We also help with monitoring what cleaning supplies are required around the school and delivering them to all classrooms on a weekly basis.

Another thing the students have enjoyed has been learning skills related to cooking. Students have been supported to follow recipes and contribute to making different fun things to eat. We have enjoyed measuring and mixing ingredients, using different methods to heat and cook those ingredients and eating the finished product. Pancakes and different types of cookies have been some of our favourite things to make! Students have done a wonderful job following instructions, keeping safe and learning about keeping our cooking area clean and tidy. Great work, Group 21!
