Group 20

Group 20 has had a fantastic term, consistently demonstrating determination and enthusiasm in class every day. Practical life skills have been a cornerstone of our experience, with engaging activities including laundry, cooking, gardening, and financial mathematics. In laundry sessions, we've learned the ins and outs of washing clothes, using a dryer, and organising clothes neatly. Our gardening efforts have involved caring for plants through regular watering and planting new vegetables. In financial mathematics, we've tackled tasks like calculating shopping list prices and role-playing the shopping experience. In cooking, we've practised techniques such as mixing, weighing ingredients, and zesting. A recent highlight was baking a delicious lemon cake using lemons grown in our student garden. As this term comes to an end we look forward to building on these skills and continuing to further develop our life skills next term.
