Urban Camp

Many class members of Group 13 spent the last three days of May this year on Urban Camp.

From the camp facilities at inner-city Parkville, we were able to embark on a large number of educational and fun activities that provided a rich range of experiences.

We began with a behind-the-scenes tour of the MCG (complete with our own ‘Press Conference’) before we tried out the interactive activities at the Australian Sports Museum. We also visited such attractions as the Eureka Skydeck at night, the Melbourne Aquarium, Victoria Market and Melbourne Zoo. 

A highlight of the camp came on the last morning when many of our students could be seen on The Today Show on Channel 9 during live crosses from Urban Camp.
