Dear Parents and Guardians,

As term two draws to a close with only one week left, it is important to look over some of the amazing work that has been happening within the school. Our senior students have been busy working hard to complete their mid-year exams and GAT, as well as our Year 12’s attending the Sunraysia Ball last Friday. We held our year 10 into 11 information night, to support students and parents with subject selections for next year and confirmation meetings will be next Tuesday. There has been a range of interschool sports including football, netball and basketball where our students have performed well, showing excellent school values.

We will be finishing the term on a high, celebrating NAIDOC week. There are daily activities planned, starting with our whole school assembly which will include some special guests on Monday morning. Thursday will be a casual dress day, where students are asked to wear yellow, red and black.

Staff have been busy completing semester one reports, which will be published at the end of next week. Friday will be our annual ‘Big Freeze’ event, to finish off the term. This will include the soaking of staff and students to raise money for a great cause. Friday is also a casual day, where students are asked to dress in blue. Please also be aware that school will finish earlier than normal, concluding at 2:30 pm.
