Kay Alexander hands over the reins

After 30 years of servicing the Bright (VIC) community, FN Alexanders principal Kay Alexander has retired - handing over to her two sons, Cameron and Regan, on the 1st of July. 

As a well-known and much-loved member of the First National family, Kay has done a sterling job of managed the family’s agency for the last six years since her husband Barry’s passing. It’s now time for a well-earned rest and for Cameron and Regan to take the family legacy into the future.

‘I can’t tell you how much I am going to miss you guys and all my First National family’ says Kay.

‘It's been such a big part of not only my life, but our family's life, since Barry commenced working for FN Fred Neal back in July 1989 - when the kids were little. The one good thing though is friendships are forever, and I've made many, so I don't think you can get rid of me that easily.’

To celebrate and honour Kay’s retirement, the office invited family, friends and locals to drop by the office and say farewell on a Friday afternoon, and plenty of people did so.

Climbing the Inca Trail

Debbie Kearns, property manager and financial administrator at FN Claridge (Deloraine, TAS) is ticking off a travel experience on many a bucket-list. She’s currently walking the Inca Trail, the Peruvian hiking trail that ends at Machu Picchu. 

Trekkers normally take four or five days to complete the trail and we wish Debbie a safe and enjoyable journey.

Celebrating first anniversary

It's happy first anniversary to Bruce Wang and his team at FN Evergrand (Glandore, SA). Congratulations on your first year with the network and thank you for your membership.

Farewell Maxine Langham

We also bid a fond farewell to Maxine Langham, retiring this month from her property management role at FN Bribie Island (QLD). 

Maxine has been a beloved member of the holiday rentals team for seven and a half years, but before that she had worked in sales for six years. 

The team at Bribie have her a rousing send off!

Donuts and discussion on the Copper Coast

South Australian Business Growth Manager (BGM) Trent Godfrey dropped in on the team at FN Copper Coast (Wallaroo, SA) on a recent rainy day. 

It was perfect weather for donuts and discussion about the real estate market, which is very busy at the moment.

Holiday on Phillip Island?

Employee of the Month

At FN Mudgee (NSW), Robbie Palmer is Employee of the Month, thanks to all his hard work and acquisition of charity auction items. 

What a team player! Congratulations and well done, Robbie.

FN Commercial members working together
